ABOUT THE COURSE
Over five enriching days, participants will immerse themselves in the writing of Venice. Take part in deep textual analysis, identify strategies that help writers communicate a sense of place, and learn to access all the senses as we write and adventure through Venice together.
Participants will spend an equal amount of time outside of the classroom: on creative foraging walks, bespoke visits to the Biennale and museums, and time with architectural experts for a chance to live and breathe the city as we write it.

Daily sessions are comprised of discussion and analysis, guided creative writing exercises, and sharing and critique. Each participant will have a dedicated one-on-one feedback session with Demi Anter to discuss their writing and career goals, and receive individual guidance on literary magazine, article, and manuscript publishing.
