ABOUT THE COURSE
"Venicinema" will help expand, strengthen, deepen and consolidate your creative exploration in architecture, urban planning and social history; whether you're an undergraduate, PhD candidate, post-doctoral researcher, or an early-years practitioner.

It proposes a unique approach to understanding cities by first studying how fiction films have expressed Venice's characteristics, then using the language of cinematic montage to make
observational films related to Venice. The approach, outputs and knowledge gained are then transferrable and applicable to your city, your context, and your country. These are presented within the framework of your research interests and critiqued by experts in the field.

No previous experience in filmmaking is necessary.
