  • ALEXANDRA LAQUEUR
    ECA MANAGING DIRECTOR
    Alexandra is leading the Academy for more than 7 years. She gives lectures on the Venice Biennale and is responsible for curriculum of our art courses. Alexandra is a seasoned education professional with experience in academic publishing (Elsevier) and partnership development. She studied at the Free University in Brussels and Columbia University in New York. She speaks Dutch, English and Italian.
  • MARIA NEKRASSOVA
    ECA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
    Maria has 10+ years of experience in education management. Before joining ECA Maria organized the Venice Design exhibition and spent 3 years as an Associate Director at prestigious IE Business School in Spain. She has Masters in Sociology from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris. She speaks Italian, Russian, English and Spanish.

    An artist and producer, Stephen has helped to create many successful and prize-winning film and art projects. He played a crucial role in developing the Suspension concept and visuals.
