Art history course for all teachers, all levels
Art history classes, museum and church visits with experts, on XVth to XVIIth century venetian art. Painting, sculpture, architecture, glass and mosaic: a journey through innovations, inventions and particularities of three centuries where artists are constantly confronted to new influences. An open minding course about cultural diversity, inclusion, and contaminations as a tool for invention and creativity. The courses will take place in Venice historical Palazzi, in the center of the city.
Outcomes: Increase art historical knowledge, individually and in group sessions / Introduce students in the interpretation of artworks and encourage their visual thinking skills / Guide students in art activities inspired by classical works of art and open minding contaminations.
